Are dealer markups over MSRP still common for GT4 orders? My dealer offered me “modifiable order slot” for 10k over; not sure where this ranks in the Current price spectrum

The basic answer is No. I have been offered at least three or four GT4 allocations at MSRP, so they are out there. Very different environment from GT4 .1.

All day long at MSRP... Not nearly the same demand as the 981 as others have said. Everyone locally offered me the 718.

I've passed on four allocations so far at MSRP and that's just from one dealer. I would not pay any amd on this car.

no I've been contacted directly by dealers with open build slots at no ADM and it looks like a lot of people are backing out of orders

just pick up a used 981 GT4, there are lots to choose from.

I feel slighted. Nobody has called to offer ME a GT4 slot. WTH. I guess they know I'm just a guppy. I'm not even a dolphin, and forget about whale! I'll tell you what, though, I could see myself moving to the 718 GT4 (in GBM) in a few years when the new car has depreciated closer to the value of the 981 GT4s.
