Rick currently has my car doing the 4.5L conversion. Would love to join the facebook group. What is the name of it.
Rick's had the car for a week, as of today. He already had the engine out of the car by Monday afternoon.

Well I got my 4.5L GT3RS yesterday. Haven’t gotten to drive it too much yet but all I can say for now is wow. Didn’t think you could improve a gt3rs but Rick pulled it off. The car feels much more alive.
I’ll post a full review as well as some videos soon.

Very cool guys.
I have never heard of DeMan Motorsport until the other week when I was purusing P-Car Market and saw a 996 GT3 with a 3.8 Conversion done by a shop I had never heard of about 10 minutes from where I grew up. Some quick Google searching and I found out the story. Now they're in Road and Track. Very cool and I wish I had known about it sooner.
Question, which is moot at this point: could all the above be done to a 991.1 Carrera S? Including the gearing? I got rid of mine because the gearing sucked and the low down torque was lacking and made it a pretty tame driver. But that engine is mostly the same as the one in the GT4, correct?
Just food for thought.
Congrats again!

Oh great, now with all the big press the price on these will go up. Unless, it brings more business which brings the price down! Seriously, congrats on the recognition to Deman Motorsports, Rick DeMan, and the people behind Rick.

My CPO runs out in May of 22...I guess I'll start saving and plan to send the car 1000 miles away for a bit of time. I was thinking 991.2 GT3, but this just seems better in some way.

Oh don't worry.... I too thought that after this a GT3 had no reason to be anymore, but then Rick got his hands on one recently....

What’s the reliability and what are the service intervals like with the new engine? My only concern would be reliability! I know there’s a guy in Cali who turned over 100K on his GT4 with no issues. Could we hope to have the same reliability with this package? I’m on the fence, help!!! 😂
