Thanks guys for the feedback guys.
Can't wait to dial in the alignment a bit and then hit the track. Was going to drive there but just got a tie-down kit so I'll probably trailer.

I think you can see it in the group picture in front of Rick's shop... What an amazing car: I was telling them that after doing the 4.5 on our GT4 there was no more reason for me to get a GT3RS then yours happened... Please do update us and post some vids...

Dude, I rode along with Rick during a quick test drive when I was up at the shop, and don’t want to give anything away, but gotta say you’re getting something really special. Looking forward to reading your full impressions!

That’s good to hear! I’m beyond excited to drive it. Rick showed me power numbers and told me it was amazing but that’s about all I know for now.

Welcome to the family!!!! Are you getting everything done? Don't forget to join the FB group...
I've noticed in another thread that you run Hoosier R7: I would love to see what kind of 0-60 and 60-120 times these cars get when traction is not a problem...

I've run R7s and I think I have a set of rears still in the garage, but honestly I've moved away from them. I've been running Pirelli DH takeoffs for the last two years. They aren't as cheap as you think because you only get 2 days out of them, 3 maybe if you drive like a granny, but they are still a better overall value for me and that first day is pretty magical. On the other hand, I feel like the R7s needed even more camber than the DH, were harder to figure out optimum pressure (DH is easy - shoot for 29-30 hot), and when R7s fall off, boy they really fall off. The DH just gets steadily slower until you cord 'em. I run Pilot Sport 4S on the stock wheels for daily driving. They're great for street and will work in a pinch on rainy track days.
I think I'm going to stay pretty close to the other builds on this thread - gears and LSD, but I'll stick with the stock PSE. I'd also like Rick to install his roll bar and a pair of Sparco seats and harnesses because I've had enough of track days hanging on for dear life.

Thanks! It was the testimonies in this thread that really won me over. Like nearly all of us, I really, really love my car and honestly am not interested in anything else... but I just wish it had... more. Some way of turning it up to 11 without taking away from other aspects that make it so great. By all accounts, that's what Rick offers, and even more than that, I'm confident from others' experience with him that it's in exceptional hands.

Congrats on pulling the trigger. It may give pause for the faint of wallet, but the payoff is in the experience. It transforms the car from a happy, strong but lazy dressage horse that needs coaxing, to a racehorse that is eagerly waiting for you to crack the whip with the accelerator pedal.
