Anyone ever have this done?
Car is at the dealer for a headlight issue and was recommended this be performed. Never heard of this service before... money grab by the dealer or worth the $130?

What headlight issue? I've got the PDLS fault error message a few times over the past few months but it goes away, and the lights seem to be working ok.

As far as the injector service, what do they say they do? I brought mine in for what I thought was a knock/ping, and they just gave me (2) cans of BG-44K...wonder if this "service" is the same.

 

This was the issue that apparently has something to do with the motor that levels the headlight...



Coincidentally the same light was delaminating and will be replaced under warranty. Sadly they will not replace the other light.

This is the response to my query about the injector service...
It is a fuel system cleaner that cleans the entire fuel system from the tank to the injectors.

No idea what it entails.

 

Yeah, that's probably the tech pouring in a can of BG44K.

I get the same headlight error.

Fuel Injector Service =

 

Save yourself $124 and use a bottle of Chevron Fuel System Cleaner (w/Techron) prior to EVERY oil change. Treat your fuel, run the entire tank down low, and then get your oil changed.
