2016 C2S bought CPO in Jan 2019. I have been following this as my rear window has the adhesive issue. Took to local dealership and has taken six weeks to get an answer. Service manager said warranty claim was denied and quoted me $10k to replace the rear glass and adhesives. He said they have never seen the problem. Getting really frustrated with this whole process. Going to take it to the dealership that sold it to me to see if they can do anything about this.

The dealerships sub out the work anyways. I have a crack in my windshield, it’ll cost under $1k. If you don’t want to deal with the dealerships, it shouldn’t cost more than $1k to replace each end. I used permatex gasket maker to seal off the goop, doesn’t look great up close but it works...

Still under factory warranty, too, no? How the hell is that NOT warranty? It's not wear and tear.

I have had NO issue getting mine scheduled for replacement by the dealer when I went in for service for my front glass... granted not rear as I have a Spyder but still. Not only that, service advisor says he does them all the time and it's a common issue! I am waiting for the glass to come in and this reminded me to call them today, as it's been a few weeks now.

My 2016 Spyder is due to go in next week for a windscreen replacement under warranty for this issue - took the dealer a couple of weeks to respond with an answer but apparently Porsche had no issue with agreeing to the work.

I also had my windshield replaced under warranty. The dealer had to elevate the issue up to PCNA but it was approved. Took a couple of weeks to get a reply.
