Yeah.... so it might not be the most budget friendly way to go. With the Dundon race headers and stock exhaust (PSE off) I was a little louder, passed some days at Tremblant if the humidity and temps were just right, other days could hit 93.5db. A good alternative would be to keep the stock PSE and swap in an X-pipe so you can switch between regular normal tips and turn downs. Soul makes some turn downs with clamp on tips and I bet they could make a set of turndowns too....

As others have said, adding the Dundon Headers makes a world of difference. Add Cobb with Dundon tune and it is brilliant. Definitely much louder above 4k RPMs, but absolutely epic note. And to me, it's way more awake in the mid range. If you get to Georgia, let me know. You can certainly check mine out.
And keep an eye on the marketplace. I purchased the headers from one member and the Cobb from another. Did the install myself. And Jamie, with Dundon, can sell you the two gaskets you need.

Appreciate the input guys. Thanks. I'm not in a rush to do this, and certainly not prepared to spend another $10k after just buying the car, but maybe as time passes and I can find some of the parts used, and could do the install possibly myself. I have a lift and a reasonable amount of skills. It usually comes down to not having one or two tools that I need, but that's just a good excuse to buy them. Still cheaper than to pay someone for the labor.
If you do the headers please also add a stud & nut kit...don't use the OEM bolts and save yourself some headaches down the road...ask me how I know!

With a Lift exhaust mods are a piece of cake........on the runners (or anything on the top side of the engine) lift or no lift it's a PITA but doable.

I love this-I am the same way! Take the time, find good deals on parts and do the install yourself to know if that it was done right. Its really not that hard-I did the headers/studs on mine as well as the intake manifold-take your time and its pretty easy (it helps that I have a lift also). Any questions please let us know and we will be glad to help!
