I detect some sarcasm but gotta admit, I am ALL ABOUT those dealer stamps!

I get . . . aroused . . . when I see a car for sale accompanied by a fully stamped dealer booklet like this one which accompanied a Porsche recently for sale on BaT:

Just look at it, will 'ya. What a thing of beauty!

When my service booklet grows up, it wants to be just like this service booklet.

Ha! I know I'm in the minority when it comes to this, but I do believe dealer service for all regularly scheduled maintenance adds value, at least in the minds of some folks. YMMV!

In my mind, I'd add maybe 500-1000 dollars to the price as a buyer. It's mass produced car that's built in the thousands. As long as there are records of service at the right time points I'm not going to get too worked up.

Sadly, I've been in the industry and know people who worked at various dealerships and know the type of people and work/accidents that takes place...

Kind of like once you know how a sausage is made...

You and me both. But that also means you know there are some quality folks amongst the crowd. You just gotta find them.
