Nicely done! Did the OEM mounting kit come with reinforcements for the inside surface of the firewall? Could you post some pics of the actual parts included in the kit?

The mounting holes should be there from factory if your car has the ClubSport (Half Cage Optioned).
Just remove the carpet and screw these in. See below is what comes in the kits.
4x U-Shaped brackets, 4x Horizontal Bars, 4x Horizontal Bolts, 8x Bolts for mounting to the Chassis.

Mounting Kit Parts & close up of install points behind the seats.

Ah, thanks. Unfortunately for North American cars that can't get the Clubsport option, we don't have any factory holes or reinforcements. So they have to be drilled, retrofitted... at that point, I think the Brey-Krause truss adapters are probably an easier solution.

Waiting for my 718 GT4 with LWB... Will be going with roll bar and 6 pt harness.

Will go Schroth GT3 harness. Just to confirm... from what I understand the LWB seats does not come wth an OEM antisub belt mount? Plus the passenger is not slotted for 6 pt harness?

I geuss I will start looking for a sub bel mount (Cantrell seems the way to go).

I have a BBI set up ( harness bar and sub belt bar . I can show it to you if you want . I did the job all by myself. I did only the driver side . Dont want to drill the passenger seat.

Your understanding is correct. Check my posts (#11 and #29) in this thread.

Thanks gt3rs.! I plan on doing it myself also, part of the fun! was considring the CMS rollbar and Schroth harnesses. Passenger side is still unsure for me... either nothing, or a 4 pt ASM Schroth harness, or a full blown 6 pt harness with cushion and shell modification... I rarely drive with passengers on track days, but I want them to feel and be safe. If you have pictures of your setup that would be great. I find it a bit weird that they offer LWBS with a cutout for a 6pt harness and they dont provide the proper monting points for it!!

Thanks Bill for clarifying... I wasn't sure if adding an aftermarket sub belt mount was just to get a beefier setup. On your picture it looks like there is a skinny bar that is in the right location to wrap the sub belt on... but I guess it's not the purpose of this bar. Cant wait to get my hands on the car to play with it!

For those who has installed lap belt to LWBS. Should oem seat belt go on top of lap belt or the other way around?

Guys, I need exactly this but I cannot find it anywhere! Does anyone have any tips to the part number + manufacturer?

I am considering the Brey Krause kit but my friend had that in his 981 and he said that it had a lot play and that it was noisy. I thought it might be an installation issue. Thought?

@Dorian C I have the Brey Krause kit which I installed myself. I have no issues with it having any play or being noisy. Sounds like there may be an installation issue with your friend's kit. I would have him check it as there should be no play and may be a safety issue. Harness mounting points should be very secure.
