718 GT4?
I felt bad for my buddy, he just bought the 991 Turbo a few weeks ago, went back to Circle for some warranty work and spoke to a sales rep. They were more than happy to take a deposit and said they will contact him when he can build out the car. I told him to call them and ask if there would be an ADM then they said it was $20k.... what a kick to the *****. There are so many buyers of GT cars in LA, I'm not shocked, and there are so many allocations the dealers will get. Like others have said, if you want the GT4/Spyder during year one, you'll likely pay ADM but if you want til the end of the build cycle you may get one for MSRP. It all depends if you want to be the guy with the new GT4 at Cars and Coffee first
Theyre all going to be pushing ADMs for as long as the market will pay them. That might be a long time. Might be for only the first car a dealer is allocated. Might be for zero cars.
Not being willing to pay an ADM will (or may!) be a hurdle to getting a car, until it isn't.

One of the reasons Porsche raised the 718GT4 price as much as they did was to get some of that ADM $ the dealers were collecting. Now the stealers are still adding on.
Bottom line...we're getting hit twice. I thought Porsche didn't allow dealers to charge above MSRP. Guess not.

Dealers can't just tack on ADM at will. There's still a market out there. A $120k GT4 comes awfully close to a clean CPO 991.1 GT3 with a PDK and 5 years warranty remaining on a 9000rpm real GT engine. Not too bad for a street/track car.

And now they can add yet another GT car to that list.
The economy has already turned.
Consumer Confidence (while still relatively high) has dropped to a point that is nearly a 2 year low.
And while the final Q1 GDP came out today at 3.1%.... that number was inflated by an increase in inventories (not bullish) and additional govt. spending.
Excluding trade, inventories, and govt spending.... the economy really grew at only a 1.3% rate in Q1.
It will be interesting to watch how "quickly" (or not) dealers respond.
I saw on this topic that some of you argue that the 718 GT4 has new tyres, but on specs I could read it's about PS cup 2, and same size than the 981. So what are you refering to? Is the new PSC2 improved in comparison with the one launched with the 981 GT4?
Different N spec. N0 stock on 981...it will be either N1 or N2.
Which means?????? It could be and improvement in any area: grip, wear, resistance to cuts, anything...unless it has an "R" (like on GT3RS) it will probably offer same grip than the one on the 981.
Once cars are available for test drives we should know more details...
