There's a good chance Miami Blue (with Lava Orange, Chalk and Carmine Red) will be available as the special colors for the 718 GT4....those are right now the special colors for the 718 and probably will move into the 718 GT4.
What would be great is that on the configurator they are right now offering deviated stitching for the interior in various special colors....hopefully we also get that option on the GT4.

Don't worry, Porsche will... it's about $$$$$$$$

Will be interesting to see what kind of a price they come up with for the so called PTS option.

I don't mind the bright colors and things when say it is on things I am taking to the track where part of the intention is to make them easy to pick out of the crowd of a dozen bikes flying by so the team knows you are still upright and circulating. On the street however I don't like the attention they bring.

THat green wrap and the orange (same as the 997.1 GT3 RS orange) I saw recently both look great and are real differentiators from any other GT4s I’ve seen. When I was buying I wanted to stick with white given that’s its the purest Motorsport colour, but I would probably have picked either over white had they been real options.

I love that there there are so many diverse colour choices. It looks amazing when you see a line up if Porsche’s and there is such a broad spectrum. There is no bad choice in my mind.

looks like PTS will be even more rare!

wrapping the car looks to be more attractive for protection and price point.

I think you are right on this one.......next car I will wrap the entire car to protect it, if I can't get the color I want a color wrap is not such a bad idea...if done correctly.
Just saw a 2018 GT3 in Signal Green and I couldn't believe it was a wrap...car was originally Racing Yellow and even opening doors, frunk, etc you couldn't notice the yellow, great job. Expensive too but not as expensive as PTS.
PTS was like $6-$7K...the jump in price is just crazy. Lava Orange is starting to look very good for me!!!!!

Wrapping is really expensive if you do it right like that and especially from a shop that won't cut corners (wrap the inside of panels, etc.). All the badging has to be taken off, trim pieces, etc.

Wrap on an entire car (or clear bra) is very region dependent. I flew to NJ to see a guy's M2 Akrapovic exhaust (Phil at Detailer's Domain). We got to talking and he asked me how much a clear XPEL wrap costs in NC and I told him my quoted price (4k). He said no shop around him does it for less than $6,500. That wrap doesn't include taking the trim off and the like which you would need to do on a color wrap. PTS may not be that much more expensive and you know it is done perfectly at the factory and you don't have to deal with maintenance on it. Granted, you're probably then clear braing the entire car anyway so there's that.

That's the thing...after $12K and the stress of PTS you will want every inch wrap...at least I would do it that way. But maybe doing clear is a bit less expensive as they don't have to go into the details as a color wrap.
Anyway, if my allocation does fall on the PTS window, will go for PTS. If not I will probably just pick one of the special colors.
