718 GT4?
I don't see why Porsche would deviate from that.
But then again you already had 2 of those on order!

The L.A auto show would make a good venue. I agree, Porsche wouldnt deviate from that.
I sure hope i get my car for the Roar in January!
The Porsche 935 " spy " video testing on the track came out the same day the car was launched at Rennsport. Nobody, except the privileged Porsche owners with PAG connections, knew of its existence. It was a very well kept secret this time around. Now this " famous " car spotter, just so happened to release a " spy " video of that car testing who knows how long back,on the same day of its release! Oh the coincidence!
You see...it all starts with a little boy, lots of dreams and a cellphone camera. Then the kid grows, his audience grows,he gets a better camera and eventually...he gets on Porsche's payroll.
Did you catch my drift?

Whoopsy, in your original riddle post about the 718 GT4 (here: https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4/1033...l#post15014653), was "The thing that was suppose to be on top of them is bonkers. I will totally take it over a GT3 without even thinking. But it is neither confirmed nor denied. The car I saw was just a figment of my imagination apparently." the 935?

My opinion only but I think the 4RS if it comes will be a stroked 3.8 from the new GT4 bumped to 4.0 with the x51. Current GT3 engine is costly and would get too close to the GT3 in terms of performance. They will always respect the hierarchy.

If Porsche would consider a GT4RS, the engine would remain unchanged. You would get however PDK and carbon bits from the Clubsport parts bin such as wing and fenders or something along those lines IMO.
Who knows what Porsche would actually come out with if it actually produced a GT4RS, but you know that there is a GT4 with a GT3 engine and PDK kicking around somewhere....its certainly not ready for production but the GT division has, without question, stuffed that engine and tranny combo into a GT4 chassis.....its somewhere out there.

It would be nice to see a power bump as they sometimes do in the RS line.... but that development for the sake of a limited build has me doubtful. Especially considering this is still just a pipe dream.
BGB will have just as many 4.0L on the street by the time Porsche get around to building a 4.0L GT4RS!

After seeing the results of your 3.0L TT, im sold on the engines!
I anticipate that engine or (close to it) making its way into a 2021 GT4 model.
