..or perhaps the 3.8L X51 provides an upgrade path for Gen 1 Clubsports.... and Porsche can still have a differentiated Gen 2 Clubsport with chassis/aero improvements + X51
I dont think Porsche intends on 981 GT4 owners to upgrade their cars with X51 packages..... i think they intend to sell owners the new cars instead....
Hence, GT4 racing internationally is the new car as is PWC and IMSA. No "updated" cars.
Do you expect them to announce the street car on or before the CS cars are delivered at the ROAR?
I think the street car will have to be announced before the race car.... that was the way it was for the 2016 GT4CS
So before December perhaps?

Porsche just built the Moby Dick 991.2.
So dream cars are not out of the question at this point IMO.
Porsche knows there is a lot of talk and interest on a GT4RS concept... So they could very well build a limited amount in the final year of 718GT4 Production. It would be PDK only with lightweight panels and more aero IMO.
