Default Inquiry: Wheel Fitment

Anyone know whether a set of Forgestar F14 wheels (from a 997 GT3) in the following sizes will fit a GT4:

19x8.5 ET 46 Front
19x11 ET 52 Rear

I figure the rear will probably clear fine, but the fronts will poke out 15mm more... Curious if anyone has wheels on their car with similar fitment. My gut says with extensive track use that offset will rub and will not end well...

My CCW wheels fit perfectly and maximize the use of space. Fronts are 19 x 9 with 51 offset. Rears are 19 x 11 with 44 offset. I think your proposal might result in the front getting fender rub and the rears being a little close to the strut.

I would do some research on forgestars. I wouldnt set foot on a track with those wheels given their history. They arent forged.

Thanks, I did some digging and you're right - will pass on the wheels.

Good call.

An S2000 at Buttonwillow had a wheel failure a year ago with the same wheels. It's just not worth it.
