718 Clubsport TOO Loud
Looking for 718 Clubsport Stock Cats. Has anyone replaced stock Clubsport exhaust and have Cats that were taken off?
Have a 2020 Clubsport just purchased used and apparently in it's previous life someone hollowed out the Cats and or muffler.
Any suggestions for getting back to more stock sound or aftermarket that is subtle. At Laguna a couple of weeks ago still blew 103 db with turnouts. We suspect not all at turn 5 and that they were using mobile sound that day to nail other Super Trofeo Lambos that were super loud
Thought Turnouts would get me by 103

Track Day
I was at the same event in a 23 Clubsport rs. Had to lift at 5 or get meatballed. Very frustrating! The fix for the 23 is putting a silencer on. It bolts onto the cat. Then you have to remap the fuel with a tester. Havent done it myself but thats the research I came up with. Its shown in RSI. Good luck!

I'm in a similar situation. I, too, have a new-to-me 2020 718 CS that is too loud.
I had it at Portland last week and was black flagged at 104 db. And that was at part throttle (!!) as this was the very first time I had driven the car and I had received a warning the first time out. It is very loud, inside and out. By all appearances it is the stock exhaust, but I'm guessing the internals are gone.
I could try diverter ("Laguna") pipes, but they do not always suffice in the era of more strict sound enforecment -- think roving sound meters. I'd just as soon avoid diverter pipes and just get a quieter exhaust, even if it means giving up a few horsepower. If I can get an exhaust that is ≤ 102 db at full throttle and high revs, that would suffice at most tracks.
Any suggestions for "quiet" exhaust system for our cars? My understanding is that Dundon makes a quiet exhaust for our cars, but I don't see it on their website and have not yet contacted them.
thanks, Andy

The reason you may find the GT4RS CS too loud compared to the previous generation is due to a change made by Porsche Motorsport. In the 718 GT4 CS, they initially equipped it with a quiet version exhaust as the default option, with the louder exhaust as an alternative choice. However, the 718 GT4 CS received criticism for being too quiet and lacking the passionate feeling of a race car. As a result, Porsche decided to ship the GT4RS CS with the louder version of the muffler to address this feedback.
Using a non-Porsche quiet exhaust can lead to disqualification in official Porsche races(such as sprint challenge) or SRO races because the exhaust system is not listed in the HOMOLOGATION document.

One cost effective way to get the quiet exhaust, but not paying the Porsche Motorsport new part "Tax", is to get an used GT4RS street car muffler and turn the valve OFF.

OEM "loud" muffler for sale
I'm selling my OEM Porsche "loud" muffler, PN: 9F2.251.053.A. It is off of my 2020 718 GT4 Clubsport. 5,200 miles. Excellent condition, no damage. Sounds awesome, but just too loud for the tracks I drive.
