On my 987.2 I had to dyno on a AWD dyno due to the fact that the SM would freakout and put the car into a reduced power limp mode.
What about the CS, can I dyno on a regular 2wd dyno or not? I have to get a compliance dyno.

I just did a compliance dyno 2 weeks ago. AWD dyno but still required to be put in dyno. I have a detune using a Cobb. So the option for dyno mode is on there. It would suck to buy a cobb just to get dyno mode. But it's a super easy solution for
dyno compliance that we have for the top 3 every race weekend in my region. Your other option is PIWIS. From what I understand those really are the only options. We tried the hacks of disabling various things on another Cayman a year ago. He
was crushing everyone for a weekend before we realized the hack was just putting the car into limpmode reducing whp by 20-30.

I dyne'ed on a 4wd dyne last year w/o any software/hardward like a PIWIS or a Cobb. Finding a 4wd dyne is a pain. Hoping for just being on a 2wd!

The AWD dyno I used did not have the connected front with rear rollers. So it's only a small percentage of even the 4WD dynos that works for. With the 2wd there is no way that will work bc the system will freak out.
