I recently bought a 981 GT4 CS. Only driven it once. Car appears to be stock except for a few MR components (suspension and fuel cell).
My mechanic just told me the left exhaust manifold is cracked. What are my best options? Anyone have a used one FS?
Or should I go with Dundon, Soul, Cargraphic or Fabspeed or something else?
Jeff

Get the race headers of your choice. The OEM manifolds are prone to failure, also the cats, and they have been on backorder forever from PMNA and are hella expensive. Hopefully your local track does not have overly strict sound limits.
Your mechanic seems quite competent if he inspected for and found the crack proactively. If the crack was allowed to propagate eventually it fails and allows hot gasses to do all kinds of expensive damage to wire harnesses and fuel lines. As him which header brand he prefers. I got a lot of recommendations for Cargraphic so will pass that along. Ultimately, I went with Dundon because they were in stock and available when my cats failed but they are by far the most expensive. Soul is good but I heard at least the first gen had tight O2 sensor bung placement. Maybe they have improved it.

OP, also since you just bought a car with a fuel cell, make sure you have the foam inspected and replaced if needed. You want to avoid driving the car with deteriorating foam. Ask me how I know...
