Default Bimmerpost Reunion/Rollcall Thread

After reading a few threads recently I've come to realize that a lot of us have come to Porsche from a familiar place. So I though it would be cool to see who's here from the old hangout. This can be a great opportunity to reconnect with some old friends and make new ones. So here we go.....post up your BP User name, the whip you drove, and your current Pcar. Let the fun begin......Phil

Hi Phil,

I post in bimmerpost but hang out more on bimmerboost. Believe your car was at Tejas Treffen? Went there w my wife and had fun!

Bought my M4 back in 14 and sold it in 16 for '17 C2 manual. Loving it!!! Still daily my n54. We need to get together on some weekend for a Houston Rennlist Porsche meet!

Hey Phil I remember you from the track forum mostly I posted on M3 post as M3 Esq. I had a few E92 M3s E90 335is and E46s. My latest was a LRP edition M3 that I had for a few years. I tracked the crap out of it then sold it for my first Porsche, a 2015 CPO C2. I loved my M3 but the C2 is a different animal. Can't see myself ever going back. I also DD a M235i and the wife has an X5 50i

My DD

Great thread idea, since I have joined this forum I have noticed more than a handful of people here who came from BMW M cars. Got a taste of Porsche last year and I believe I will always have one in my garage until I can no longer drive.

17 M4 Comp Pack fully loaded- She was a beauty if I was using as a dd I would have kept M4 But since I only use for pleasure cruising the 911 C4S is perfect and a special car

I took the natural progression of many BMW enthusiasts and moved into a 991.2 GTS (on route). I previously had an E92 335i and f80 M3.

Not taking anything away from rennlist but Bimmerpost is much more lively and much better designed forum.

JTO24 on bimmerpost and here, too.. made the baby jump from an F80 M3 DCT to a 2016 981 Cayman 6mt. I'm looking to get a 991.1/2 or 718 S next.

I'm loving it! Obviously going from a tuned F80 to a stock base Cayman took some adjusting, power-wise, but the car is so fun; part of its charm is the X73 suspension. That and the sweet 6mt makes it a fun, surprisingly comfortable daily driver.

I do miss the power of the M at times and my GF is hinting at the fact that I should get something with backseats now that we just adopted a dog (senior pit). So the only logical thing to do is look into a 911
