Well at least it looks like they're going to do the right thing with the balancing issue and at least they held their delivery after lying about having the wheels in stock. Not ideal but not awful either. Perhaps a place to shop when you're seeking the lowest price and aren't expecting delivery in the near future.....

FYI, I'm happy to report that CARiD is no longer a Rennlist sponsor and has also been removed as a sponsor on the Cayenne forum.

Oh yea... what happened? Did one of the big swinging rennlist bosses order a "in stock" item that took almost a month to get?

Not that I am aware of. Your issues, as well as other consumer issues, helped give these guys the boot. Thanks for taking the time to post your problems, Dan.

No problem! I would have enjoyed sending that email (the boot). Just saying...

This is great news but I am somewhat surprised that a person or entity is being held accountable for their actions. What an uncommon thing in today's world.

Yes they did. It was a huge hassle to have the work redone but at least they paid.

We are trying hard to make Rennlist an even safer purchasing venue for users and members. It's really important that this site not descend into a vendor free-for-all as is the case with so many other discussion boards out there.

Default Terrible customer service

Purchased 3 seperate items from carid.com. two were the wrong ones and one was damaged. Everything was returned to them and waited 4 weeks for them to tell me it will take another 48 hours for them to process the returns.
If anybody orders from carid.com they're asking for problems and trouble do yourself a big favor order from someone else

one item was used and placed in a box and sent to me

Guilty. I totally forgot the name of this "company". Looks as though I posted a few times here though.
