Changes (95 - 01)?
I hope this is the right forum to ask this. I'm looking for a list of changes by year from '95 - '98 993 and '99 - '01 996.
I'm sure such a thing has to exist somewhere in this forum but couldn't find it.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Ralph

Dear Ralph,
You will not get a list of changes either. There is no such thing. Well there is but you or I will never get hold of it,

PS: You basically have to compile your own list and this takes years. I am still finding them out in the 964 series.

Thanks Adrian,
At least Edmunds & such sites gave me the basics.
But you got me curious now as to why there is no such a list, seems like "Changes by Year" would be one of the basic items found at enthusiast sites...
Oh well.

Dear Ralph,
I assume that you are not familiar with Porsche and their ways. Nor was I when I first got into Porsches. Let me tell you one thing about Porsche. They do not always know what and when things happen. No two Porsches are identical. They literally have hundreds if not thousands of possible options. We are discovering basic system design changes made between 1990 and 1991 still to this day.
It s a tough job and what you find on web sites takes years of comparisons. Give it until 2005 and somebody might have got to 1995 differences, all of them that is,

911C4 and still learning.
PS. To highlight what I mean. How many brake systems do you think that Porsche had installed in the 964 series in just one year. 3 different systems all in the same nmodel year but different versions. In 1992 for example. The C4 had one system, the C2 another and the 964RS another. In 1993 the Turbolooks were introduced and get what, another brake system, yep. However you try and find out where this is all recorded and the parts catalogue doesn´t help much either.
