Had a good time too.

...and I thought only the 928 guys were into pushing the envelope

2 casualties out of 25 or so cars ain't bad.

Looking forward to the next one.

Looks like a great get together and I am sorry I couldnt make the drive down. My sons first T-Ball game and all. Probably for the best though as I would have been out gunned in my 71T. Those are some nice looking cars in those pictures. Thanks for the link. Im curious as to the casualties?

The casualties were a S2000 that did its tail-happy trick (thats two I know of that have kissed a wall with thier asses), and a very showy oil line break on a SCed Vette. Oil everywhere. Oil on the car behind HIM.

And NTslow was nice enough to help me get my car started again after a little run in with heat soaked starter issues before I even got started on the run.

C2000 got a bit rambuncious and spun backwards into a guard rail and supercharged C5 lost oil pressure and toasted his engine.

His engine, to my knowledge, was not toates Keith. He didn't lose it all. Just most of it. So I assume from intuition, that he did not infact ruin his whole engine.

I go with that then, I never talked to him, but overheard some folks talking about it, so I just assumed it was.

I was just happy to see that the Porsche's (928's for that matter)ran like champs with no issues... hardly consider your starter an issue.

So, next time, don't count out something you already fixed

Right Keith. 'Course, soon, thats going to be the whole car. Do I have to start over again then?

Really, other than a 225k mile engine that is begging for a 5.0 swap, all I really need now is a new alternator, a new starter, and maybe a going through of the TT or TC bearings. I just replaced all that though, so its always a challenge.

Funny - I found that the front driver's injector pipe is STREAMING fuel out of it. We could have had a nice barbecue on our hands out there.

Great pics guys,

I know there are many others out there with pictures and video where are you?

The S2000 did get a bit out of shape after he hit a patch of dust on the road and had a minor encounter with the guard rail.

The Vette, is all fixed now he just had a oil pressure line pop on him while doing his thing.

Hope everyone had a great time, and I hope to see you all again soon.

Below is a link to an ImageStation Album with some other pictures of the drive. I'm not sure I've done this properly. Please let me know if it doesn't work.
The drive/route was a blast. Hopefully more NSXs will participate next time!?!
