So we are up to 23 cars and 31 people. Should be a blast.
Danno- I have a line on 4 radios, just hope some people have detectors, not that we are planning on speeding. ;-)

Brian (FLYN930),
Good idea...
In previous meets / events etc. we have met up at the Starbucks off Paseo Del Norte in Carlsbad - where the outlet mall is. How does that work for you? If there are any other SD County folks coming we could group up there first. Need to think about what time to leave at.

Cool

North Bound Hook Up in Thousand Oaks
We could meet any North Bounders in Thousand Oaks around 8AM ? at the Wendy Dr. off ramp, it's an easy off/on to the 101. I think there's a Denny's there? Let me know and we'll exchange cel #'s

Just a reminder that the 8th is just around the corner. Looks like we should have clear skies and 70 degree weather. See everyone on the 8th.

Some more good news. I was able to get a sponser for the wine tasting portion of the drive. This person has asked to be un-named and has no relationship to this board and will not be joining us as they do not own a Porsche. (Owes me a couple of favors). So the wine tasting at Firestone will be gratis thanks to our mystery sponser

A few more days and we are on. Going to Dunkels over the weekend was just awsome. Met plenty of nice people and got me geared up for this weekend.
See everyone on Saturday.

Is this a Porsche-exclusive event? Or can I bring a Ferrari?

One of my buddies likes toys, Ferraris, AC Cobras, Ducati motorcycles, but he's really a wimp! Been trying to get him to go skydiving or track racing with me, but he's always putting it off. I think a leisurely drive through the wine country may be a better start for him...

Brian H,

Sorry I haven't chimed in for awhile. My passenger lives in Costa Mesa so I am planning to stay there Friday night rather than make the drive all the way up from San Diego early Saturday morning. So, if there's anyone else in the Costa Mesa/Orange County area it would be nice to meet and have our own little caravan for the drive up.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday!

Brian
