Post Any female Porsche owners out there?

Are there any female Porsche owners out there or will my pipe dream of someday meeting a woman who shares the same dedication to the marque as myself go unfulfilled? Please let me down easy...

There's me, and couple other women (as in 2 or 3) active in my local owner's group. I think the male/female ratio is somthing 30 to 1. You'll find one eventually, but its probably easier to find someone to 'convert'. Share with her your love of Porsches and it may rub off. It worked on my honey

Well, I'm here. But if you're looking, it sounds like you're about the same age as my sons. Yes, I have female friends with Porsches, some even young and single. Get active in PCA, or check out the Boxster groups, etc., or even other car clubs and DE events. that's where you'll find other enthusiasts. Maybe if not a female owner, then a sister or daughter. Sign off your computer and get out there and look!

There's hope yet! I'm active in the PCA Vancouver Island Region but we only have one female member (out of 60!) and she's taken. I did meet a nice woman at a local autocross who drives an Audi A4... she might be easily converted you'd think.

Thanks for the replies!

I would had thought just the sight of a Porsche would think girls would notice you and love the car! Yeah try Audi and BMW gatherings, we all know those two and porsches are practically kin to each other.

Think it over. Is that really what you want? I once considered it, but then I imagined having to hand over my car keys to a female (or anyone else for that matter... ) and decided to leave well enough alone. Anybody else I can coldly tell "no", but a girl friend... lots tougher... <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

P.S. I will modestly refrain from including a snapshot of myself so as not to be flooded with emails...

Move on down to So. Cal area. The local Orange Coast region of PCA and the San Diego region have their share of women members, attached and unattached. Quite a few of the attached ones have their own P-cars. (We are not taught to share well, but that could be a bonus). Porsche Owner's Club even has a few single females out at the track competing. Quite a few wives that were watching a few years ago, now have their own cars.

Patricia has a point, get out from behind the computer. (She missed a track event this week, so she's a bit blue... )

The day I met my wife, my buddy hit her apartment with his moving truck when we were moving him next door to her. Tore the gutters off. In the fray, we both ran to our cars to move them for fear of his driving capabilities, or lack thereof. I hopped in my little 83 911 SC Cabriolet and she has been a fan of it and me ever since. Did she love me or the car? Who cares. She is still here. THe story gets better. We still have the 911, but have added an M3 and and A4. A German tri-fecta. Ain't love grand! Having a wife that loves cars is soooo cool!

My wife loves cars too!

She loves her MB wagon to haul all the kids and her stuff.

She loves my Ford SuperCrew to haul all her gardening stuff.

She even loves our dirt bikes with the kids.

She just doesn't love my '87 930, "the mistress"
