Post Need to find a mechanic near Ashburn, VA

I am moving from Jacksonville, Florida to Ashburn, VA. I have a 1987 Porsche 924S. The car has been faithfully serviced by Broadfoot racing for the last 10 years. Does anyone know a good mechanic in the Northern VA area?

Eric, check out our local PCA vendors list at <a href="http://www.pcapotomac.org/pca/html/links.shtml" target="_blank">http://www.pcapotomac.org/pca/html/links.shtml</a>

We are very fortunate and have many options in the DC Metro area. I recommend Ivan at IMA Motorsport but he is not too convenient for you. Curry's in Sterling might be a good option (I've never been there); they are a sponsor of the local PCA.

Also post this question on pcapotmac's board. Many will chime in with their raves and "never again"s.

Good luck and welcome.

When I lived in NoVa I used Dr. John's Motorsports in Sterling. They did great work and the labor rates were reasonable. They do a lot of Club Race and DE prep for Potomac Region PCAers. I believe both the owner and Service Manager have 924/944 series cars.

Good Luck.
