Post DE Insurance Question

I was looking at my PROGRESSIVE policy and noted that they exclude damge "resulting from any pre-arranged or organized racing, speed or demolition contest, stunting activity, or in practice or preparation for any such contest or activity".

I would think that a DE would not fall into this category because although it is an organized event/activity, it is not a "contest".

Any thoughts?

You may want to search the archives on this, as this topic gets discussed periodically. If you want to be absolutely positively sure you're covered for drivers education events, you need a letter from an underwriter stating that you are covered.

A DE might be considered practice or preparation. I agree that you need a letter from an underwriter.
