i too think adding the guns and watches is pretty lame. where's the photography forum, as I'm pretty sure there's a buncha photogs on here too. there are forums for everything under the sun, and then some. Let IB buy them and then we can pay/not pay for a group membership to them all.

it's really a shame, as there is some great information here, and some hugely trusted tech gurus here. I'd sure hate to see it flushed in the crapper cuz people think guns and watches are relevant to cars.

I belong to a lot of forums, cars, boats, etc. When they start going this direction, the rest is all downhill. I don't understand giving the lunatics more real estate. Don't they have a "Lunatics.com" they can all go to? I've always wondered: what law about forums says that you have to have an OT section anyway? If it's a car forum, why not just have car threads, prohibit the non-car content, and the legit folks will get what they came here for? Send the crackpots packing. WTF is so difficult about that, I wonder?

Guys, there are about 75 forums on this site. Of those 60 or so are strictly cars. Watches, firearms and Porsches are all fine mechanical things. It comes as no surprise that Porsche enthusiasts want to share their interest in such things with their Porsche owning pals.

Consider that jmq posted this topic in the 964 forum. What exactly does this have to do with the 964 I wonder?
