Yeah, I was somehow mistaken that this was a Porsche enthusiast website.

Hmm are you saying that Porsche enthusiasts have no interests besides cars? Could be kinda boring don't you think?

Sure, but where does it stop? A cooking forum? A travel destination forum? A golf forum? A coin collector forum? There are other websites for these things. Not that it really matters to me. It's easy enough to skip the gun or watch forum.

Wink

...only from my cold, dead fingers will you freely gain my 964, my H-K, and my Seiko -007J automatic diver.
(oh, and I grilled some Great steaks, Friday night... with olive-oiled & salted baked potatoes...)

How's that for being both 964-related AND multi-passionate?

(I'm a'gin those two new forums)

I too think it is misplaced and inappropriated to have a forum for guns and firearms on a Porsche board.

What I don't get is why a guns and ammo forum and not a politics forum. That's what's needed to clean up the OT.

Remember that Rennlist is now part of Internet Brands, a for-profit corporation!

Internet Brands' business model is to create "social networking sites for like-minded individuals" and then sell ad space on said sites (as well as charging people to access the sites).

Maybe we will all have to move to Pelican eventually. At least there we are only being hawked Porsche stuff.

Actually, there is another option: http://reutterwerk.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=59

Lots of familiar faces there...

I happily paid my membership to help support Jen and John run such a good forum but I am questioning whether or not I will bother to renew my membership when it expires.
