I'm wondering what everyone thinks the best looking Porsche is. Forget performance and handling, this thread is purely about looks.

I personally think its the 944 Turbo/S2. With it's low sleek lines and agressive fender flares the car just screams speed. And it has the coolest thing they don't make for cars anymore, pop up headlights. By far the best looking car period from the 80's the 944 Turbo/S2 gets my vote.

 

In an interview, Harm Lagaay was quoted as saying the 968 was the most beautiful Porsche he ever designed.

I would tend to agree, that car is unique.

 

Na, look at my avatar... seriously, I would prefer a '73 911.

 

Harm said it, it was in an Excellence article last year IIRC.

 

I think I'd have to say, the 911 wide-bodies.

mid 80's 930 !!!

 

Just me but I am partial to the 94 turbo 3.6 preferably in cobalt blue.

Even if I hadn't seen it in person I have to agree. A 964 Turbo is tops. It offers a subjectively modern interpretation of a classic and awesome profile from all angles.

Both let's be fair here, we're talking Porsches so that's like going to a supermodel lingerie party and asking us to pick only one we like.

Oh and I also love the rear 3/4 view of my car!

dude- NOT! The 964 Turbo takes it all the way. Love the hips. Gotta have hips. Wait- are we talking women or cars?

 

My top 3 would be:

917K (In its Gulf colours)

'72 911S (In Black)

'79 930 (In Dark Green. Can't remember, Porsche call it Forrest or British Racing??)

 

Best looking Porsche in my book was my '94 3.6 turbo, seal gray. My wife continues to complain that I sold it.
