What the?! LOL.......

Well, to ad to Porsche's level of being secret, when the Porsche guys were asked questions at Barcalona, they wouldn't even change their expression on their faces. No "yes" or "no"s. Just acted like nobod asked any questions.

Apparently there's like 8 Security Towers around their testing facitily seeking out people with camera's. LOL...

Interesting body swap. It would be amazing if the body/chassis hardpoints lined up well enough to be able to put the Panamera chassis under the M5 body... the fender flares sure look suspect, though... <g>

I believe it.
When the Porsche 928 was being tested they had several audi coupes that had 928 under the skin, including suspension (weissach axle) and the engine, etc... So yes, I believe it.

It's virtually impossible to tell from that photo if it's an M5 or a Porsche modified test mule.
It is true; all of the German sportscar companies buy/keep competitor's cars. Some are kept in tact for test track comparison by their drivers, some are modified mules to test individual components (engine, suspension, etc).

Compare that picture to pictures of an M5. One thing I notice is that the M5 does not have flaired fenders like that one. Or at least the rears aren't that flaired.

According to Autoweek that car is a development mule for the new BMW Z6 roadster coming out.
