I'm toying with the idea of getting a personalized plate and am wrestling with whether it should reference the Beast, or a hobbie, or an allegiance or issue?

Some ideas include: Jst4Dad; Wldcats; Diveman; Ashlovr... ok the wife nixed the last one (a reference to cigar smokers, I insisted). But you get the gist. The max is 7-characters. I'm not even sure yet that a costum plate is for me, but if the right thought comes along...! Definitely nothing mocking (road-rage/racers) or cop-contempting

Any of you folks have, or had, or simply seen a good moniker runnin' around the country on a 911? I'd love to hear about it!

u could always get a business plate... for example, i got LSE DPT on mine for Lease Depot.

I ordered TARGASM for my Targa but traded it before the plates arrived. Now I'm waiting for IXIXVII for my 997S, which I like because its low key and hard to remember when I speed by!

There are lots of threads on rennlist - do a search and you'll get a lot of ideas.

Those are some nice additions!
I did look at the 4-5 multi-page threads from both May and April, 2004 and there were entertaining ones presented. I was thinking there might be some new ideas/members since then. Plus, the other posts were centered in the 928 or GT3 or 944, etc. forums, rather than the 911.

I'm torn between something clever/cute (ME 262; Panzer; AirPrsh; Targasm!) and something stealthy (roman numerals or mixed up letters: MNMNNM for e.g.)

no offense intended, but personally i think personalized license plates are a bit masturbatory.

i mean if someone wanted to know what kind of car you had, they would look at the badge.

so those types of plates are out.

the only thing i can accept as a personalized plate is some sort of joke, the COP.B8 license plate is an example of such a fun concept.
