Andy,

Tips for a good run; make it Sunday, meet about 7:00 (make it early to minimize traffic), a good stretch of road to fly on, chalenging twisties is a ++++, put a mainiac up front, and hope the roads are not encumbered.

I look forward to meeting the local group....maybe even a wrenching society???

if we are having people from LA wouldn't 8:30 be easier? We need to find a place that would be good for a meet up. Somewhere in Mission Valley would be reasonable for those coming from up north...

Andy,
How does the parking lot of Gordon Bierch in Mission Valley sound? It's very accessible to all and is just a couple of on ramps west the 15? I think we might have a 911 speedster join the drive.

I would love to go as well - if I close the deal and buy the 993 I, looking at. The run from Temecula to Julian then back to SD is a good ride or end with luch at a winery in Temecula.

I'm changing this thread to Official now.

Date: November 7, 2004
Meeting Location: Gordon Biersch Parking Lot in Mission Valley, San Diego, CA.
Time: 8:30 AM

It looks like we'll be doing the backroads to Julian still. Take the 8 Eastbound and get off at Descanso, unless anyone else can think of a better route, probaly thru Ramona and to Julian, then thru Mt Laguna and back on the 8 freeway heading westbound. Afterwards should we all hang out and get some food somewhere????

Andy- I run a restuarant and brewery downtown called Rock Bottom Brewery. Might be a good place to go after the run and get some food, drink some beers and watch some football.

I'm in. You might want to also post on the PCA Board as well.
