Thumbs up

Chazz,

Looking at the map it shows a "start" and an "end" point. Actually the start is in Misson Valley at Gordon Biersch and the end is at mac993's joint, downtown for some eats, brew, and whatnot.

Route into Ramona is: 79 into Julian, and then 78 into Ramona. Figure out your transit time to "the route" and a fun runner will call so you can meet us along the route (unless there is a COOL group pic stop location) and join in for the drive into town to rub elbows with local enthusiasts.

You can never get enough S4's in one spot!!!!

BTW, get a membership. It will pay for itself several times over in the course of a year!

"and the end is at mac993's joint, downtown for some eats, brew, and whatnot."

Speaking of which if I could get an idea of who will be coming back to my "joint" (Rock Bottom Brewery) it will help me try and reserve an area for us all. We are pretty busy on sundays with football.

I'm excited, Sunday can't come fast enough. I can't think of a better way to finish off a great "run" then with some football, good beer and hanging with some cool people.

Dan,

I expect to be there and although my car has a long ways to go ("the slope IS steep"), I've put too much into her ot let her out of my sight for long.

The original posting said a run through Ramona and Julian, so I assumed that the route would be "clockwise", continuing by Lake Cayamaca and down to i-8 for the return. Is it the other way around, i.e., Julian, then Ramona and back?

Chazz,

A key factor to these events is minimal traffic, we are leaving pretty late as it is. Hence the twisties into Julian are first thing in the morning, and by mid morning we should be cleared of the Julian residential areas and on the 78 stretch. I'm sure we will have traffic into SD.

Andy-How about staging the "meet and greet" between 7:30 to 8:00 for an 8:15 rollout time. This small adjustment increases the odd's of keeping the column intact immensely. Local traffic starts rolling at about 9:00 on Sundays. That's..let's see......three nights jump on your beauty sleep!!!

Don't even bring up the "long commutes", been there done that!!! Meet and greet's at a pair of Malibu and a Glendora runs I drove were between 7:00 and 7:30. Hell, I get to sleep in for this run.......

I'll be watching weather also. What's that Turbo? "Cool mountian air, yummmmy"

well, as i had stated before already, i was only teasing. She IS gorgeous, what can i say? I mean, she even looks alot older, i take it as a compliment. Just wanted to point out that she is way underage. I didnt mean to offend anyone or anything, i was just teasing... Maybe i should just go and delete it, it seems to cause so much trouble.

(cough ride please..??)

Chazz, we start by going through Ramona, then go through Cuyamaca to get back to the 8 freeway, so yea it's clockwise.

Mac, I'm not sure yet, I'm gonna track the weather for a couple days. I will keep everyone updated.

Levent, I'll add you right now.

Update on the weather 11/4/04@ 9:51AM

the clouds are rolling in just like they said. It's supposedly supposed to start raining saturday night and continue into Sunday. Again I'll keep everyone informed. Pray that this won't get postponed to next week.

Chame, done, but be advised of a possible postponement till next week if it rains saturday night down here (hence snow in Ramona and Julian)
