Scrape off little of the windshield dust and find the VIN. Also, tell us more about the garage and the other cars. Is this a public parking garage, apartment complex, etc? Context would help.

I was once doing an inspection on a house in Baltimore for a possible purchase and renovation. While walking through the house, we discovered a large box of pot (several pounds), in another room there were a few boxes (yes, boxes) of cash and lots of motorcycle gear. One of the guys I was with started dipping a hand in one of the boxes of car, the other was looking hard at some of the pot. I told them both that, unless they were really stupid, to drop EVERYTHING and get the XXck out of there. We left quick, never said a word and never went back.

You never know who owns what, or who may be watching. What looks abandon, may not be so.
