Hello Rennlisters,
I'm in need of a new torque wrench that can handle both standard Porsche lug nuts (19mm) and center lock wheels. Contemplating the purchase of a 1-inch drive wrench suitable for center lock wheels, capable of delivering up to 600 ft./lb of torque. However, I'm curious if a 1-inch drive 19mm socket might be too thick to fit into the standard Porsche wheel lug openings. I'm aiming to address both requirements with a single tool.

Not sure you could even find a 19mm socket for a 1" drive. But you can get a reducer 1" to 1/2" or 3/8". So not a problem.

You really need two torque wrenches. That range is too great. Get a 1/2" drive for the normal lugs. If you only use it for lugs it doesn't have to be expensive.

Oh you are right!! I failed to realize the torque Range si between 200 - 600 lb.ft. which will not work for normal lugs. oh well.
