Chalk will look dated in time. That's ok though.

I think CWM is a bit more timeless than Chalk, but I might be biased Saw a Miami blue targa the other day, definitely aging well (and lava orange is spectacular)

There are more white and silver Porsches than almost any other color. Right?

What about whites and silvers?

Article is pretty click-baity. The article page is loaded with spam advertising. I want my 30 seconds back.

Correct me if I am wrong, however, isn’t Racing Yellow a completely different hue compared to Speed Yellow? They look completely different to me.

Agreed. 100% click-bait. Chalk will not stand the test of time. Blacks, whites and silvers are truly timeless, but uninspiring IMHO.

Agreed - the statement about Racing and Speed should be reworded.

Can't forget about the greys as well, I had some AI help making a top 10 list....hilariously it always ends things like this by telling me to go to a porsche dealership.

I definitely agree with positions 1 and 2; Carrara White Metallic and Jet Black Metallic are undoubtedly timeless choices. The choice of Agate Grey Metallic as a timeless grey also makes sense, and Rhodium Silver seems to be a solid pick for a classic silver. As for Carbon Black Metallic at position 7 and Arctic Grey at position 9, I appreciate their appeal, but they may not be everyone's cup of tea, which is also true for some of the other colors and their respective rankings.

Certainly! Here's the revised list of the top 10 Porsche colors, arranged from what I consider most timeless to least timeless. Please keep in mind that this ranking is still subjective, and individual preferences may vary.
  1. Carrara White Metallic
  2. Jet Black Metallic
  3. Agate Grey Metallic
  4. Rhodium Silver Metallic
  5. Meteor Grey Metallic
  6. Basalt Black Metallic
  7. Carbon Black Metallic
  8. Chalk
  9. Arctic Grey
  10. Liquid Silver
Classic colors like Carrara White Metallic and Jet Black Metallic are often considered timeless because they have a broad appeal and maintain their elegance over time. On the other hand, colors like Liquid Silver might be considered less timeless, as they have a more distinctive finish that may not suit everyone's taste in the long run. However, it's important to choose a color based on your personal preferences and to visit a Porsche dealership to view the available options in person.

I thought "Arrest Me Red " would have made the list. My last two have been Jet Black Metallic. My long gone Cashmere Beige Targa did turn some heads.

As someone who did this to one of his walls, now I understand Chalk

I ordered my 982 GT4 in Racing Yellow. My white 981S looks positively pedestrian by comparison. Most important, of course, is that my wife likes the look of the yellow car (although she won't ride in either Cayman, as she thinks it's too difficult getting in an out of the cars. Last Porsche she would ride in was my 914-6 which she used to autocross. Age does that to all of us).
