Porsche IPO
Hi, what are you guys thoughts on the Porsche IPO in general and especially in terms of car productions? Will they produce more cars to meet the demands faster etc. which may as well affect the resale value of the cars?

Nah - it's not really that type of IPO, VW still owns 75% of Porsche, and only ~12% of Porsche shares will even trade publicly - so it was just a way to unlock some value at VW with half the proceeds going to invest in electric tech/production, the other half as a special dividend. So the goal will probably be to keep Porsche moving toward Ferrari-type luxury good valuations, and away from normal car-marker valuations, and that will probably mean selling you watches, $700 champagne coolers, vests, and whatever with your new Porsche as they keep building up the "lifestyle" brand stuff.

It worked well for Ferrari (RACE). Cash Infusion for the company, decent stock performance. I intend to buy in though perhaps not opening day.

They sell all this high dollar lifestyle crap while trying to cater towards woke crowds that are anti corporations, anti fossil fuels, anti profit.
It’s really bizarre.
