Question Help!! What's this colour?

Hi, I'm trying to find a dark metallic gunmetal grey colour to paint my beetle ( ), and since there are no decent metallic greys in the VW range I thought I'd keep it in the family and go Porsche, to go with the porsche seats and fuchs - are you spotting a theme here?

I found this colour which is ideal - it's on a 1989 911 Turbo, the owner says it's genuine Porsche and mentions Charcoal Metallic, but I can't find it in the official Porsche paint code listings, and the only other Porsche I can find described as being this colour looks almost black.

Does anyone have a Porsche this colour or know what it is? Thanks!

Default Hmmm...

I might suggest Slate Gray Metallic Clearcoat. Go to paintscratch.com and go through their system to get the 89 colors. It might pay off to order a can to do a test, as the website says their image swatches may not exactly match. That's where I got this image...

I'd suggest it might be Anthracite.

Hehe, thanks for the help, I've found pics of all the colours you mentioned (attached):

Slate grey 1 - I think the browny (?? I'm colour-blind!) tinge could be a reflection.

Graphite 1 - How about it? It's very dark, but it's a 944 which has hasn't got curved panels so no colour gradient.

Graphite 2 - Again, dark but it's in a not-very-well-lit garage.

Anthracite 1 - Could be, but looks too light.
