The GT's are more free revving than the GTS's. I have both... and they are very different cars!
My favorite is my One of One 1991 US Wide body XX8 GT (5 - Speed) which I consider to be the holy grail of 928's. This car possesses all of the virtues of the GT with the bodywork of the GTS. This well documented example is original and complete. It was built in the "Exclusive" department, used as a factory show car and is the first Factory wide bodied 928.
Black on Black - without the side moldings that many collectors feel interrupt the exquisite lines of the car.
The GTS is a 94 "Exhibition Car" and also an "Exclusive Build" car with 28 options. White over Navy Blue with low, low miles and completely original.
928's are the ultimate distance eating monsters of the 90's. This car is built to such a high standard that it amazes me that it could be 25 years old and so perfectly solid.
Just finished a 2400 mile round trip from Maine to Atlanta and back....in a 28 year old 928 GT....did not miss a beat, ac nice and cold, and didn’t beat up my 68 year old body....priceless!
I couldn't agree more! Our GT is the perfect combination of everything.
No airbags (which ruin the steering wheel & dash) Mine has the Clubsport wheel
Only available in Dogleg 5spd (of course)
Clubsport wheels standard (never liked the the GTS wheels on any Porsche)
GTS flares ruin the lines (does my *** look big?)
GTS Painted rear spoiler (so lame)
GTS has 15 more horse power (what a joke)
The only GTS feature worth anything are the aero mirrors (mine has them)
