So what is the attraction of buying these phones outright? With Verizon Edge I got a 6 for less than 25 per month x 24 months and service for $15 / mo

 

Yours is still full price with Verizon Edge but you get to pay it over 24 months which is exactly what I am doing with my 2 new 6 plus replacements I bought for these. With an unlocked, no contract phone you can use it with ANY network sim card and if so desired, can change as often as you want. The other great thing about an unlocked phone is that if you travel (most notably outside the USA) you can grab a SIM in the new location and pay local rates rather than int'l rates.
