Default Trade: 996 PSE-hack mufflers

**GONE**

Here's the deal:

I bought a set of Fister mufflers and when I installed them I discovered that my cans had the PSE hack already. Dumb mistake for not checking before, but here we are.

The hack is stainless steel and the welds look very high quality.

Outright sale $450.

I'm no expert, but I"m only seeing one part number for 996 mufflers, so I'll say yes*

Yes. As part of Fisters business model, I need to send my cores back. Stock cores, to be precise. That's why I need the trade.

There is a difference between 3.4 and 3.6 cans. I tried a pair of 3.4 cans on my 3.6 a few years ago and the engine felt "choked" And, the part numbers are different.

I'm new to this. Can you tell me the difference between the Fister's and yours with the "PSE Hack". I have an 02 996 3.6 and am about to order a set of Fister myself.

Fister connects the inlet and outlet pipes directly, whereas the PSE hack mimics the OEM optional exhaust with a body to outlet bypass.

These are louder than stock, quieter than Fister.

I guess these are not quite loud enough for your personal preference then?

They were a nice tone, I was just taken in by the Fisters after watching posted videos.

Are you looking to sell outright or trade for stock, unmodified mufflers? I'm a bit confused.

Started off wanting to trade, gave up on that and just looking to sell them as the trade seems unlikely. Unable to change the thread title.

What do you want the title to say?
