I purchased a lift bar needed to lift the engine in a 924/944/968. I used the lift bar to suspend the engine in my 968 when I needed to change out the engine mounts. I also used it to lift the engine high enough to gain access for my hands in removing the exhaust system of the car. The lift bar is in perfect condition. Capacity is 1000#.

I paid $190 plus shipping for the system. Far sale for less than half price at $90 plus shipping. System weighs about 45#.

 

Wished I seen this 2 weeks ago, just bought one and I'm one 20 minutes from you.

i can confirm this. used this for the motor mount/opg job in june. however it is pretty difficult to get a grip on both engine lift eyes(front passenger, rear driver) and safely keep the bar fixed between the fenders. wound up only using the front passenger eye without a problem.
