86 944T(951) for sale
After many gut wrenching nights, the realization has come... the 951 must find a new home.
I bought the car in SoCal from the 3rd owner with 256K on the clock. It has had recent headwork, about 60K ago according to who I bought it from.
There is a newly repaired DME that matches the 60K timetable. I was able (via a skilled mechanic) to get her street legal and smogged again within the stringent Southern California rules.
Realizing her concours days were behind her, I set upon giving her a new life as a dedicated track/autocross girl. (LARGER detail shots [link to pics] in lower post)
This includes:
NEW power steering rack, hoses, tank
Front coil over kit conversion (2.5" 650# springs)
New 28mm front sway bar with stabilizier braces
Updated bumpstops
New sway bar and powersteering bushings
Shock tower brace ($300 Brey Krause)
New factory intake snokle and box (previous was leaking air badly)
New vacuum lines
New coolant line hoses and flushed coolant
Deleted:
Cruise control
Air condition condenser and compressor... repositioned alternator with factory bracket
All carpet/sound deadening/tacky glue stuff
Replaced
Seats with matching black Momo racing bucket seats
5pt. BRAND New (12/2011) Harnesses with cam lock release
Momo steering wheel and extension
open diff with 60K LSD transmission (5R) with cooler. (lart sourced)
Added:
Weltmeister chips (factory chips available)
Autopower bolt-in Roll bar (painted white to match interior, with pads
Asking $7750 for this well sorted STREET LEGAL, strong pulling turbo.
