993 Varioram motor rebuilt
We built this motor in October as an upgraded stock motor. EBS racing springs, rebuilt heads, valves, valve guides, rings, case work, new wiring harness. Car pulled 274 whp using a 97 computer and a Fabspeed set of headers/exhaust. I had to run an older computer/muffler to get the hp down to 265 to run a race weekend with it for GTS3. A total of 5hrs on it and ready to remove. I have left it in the car to demo it running. 9500.00
Still available first party changed their mind.
I can also provide ECU (with immobilizer delete option), exhaust, flywheel etc depending on what someone needs.
email at; bob@tracksidedata.com
Attached dyno sheet of a stock engine with chip versus the upgraded heads/valve springs etc.
the big benefit is the top end stays strong vs stock to redline by about 20whp and similar on torque.

Close. So the first committed buyer went through the entire process and then overnighted an apology for changing his mind.
This is back on the market, but there is one rennlister who in the cue. At this point to be fair I will hold it based on a reasonable deposit since the last situation was not productive.

How did you know I've been contemplating a 993 motor in my 914 resto project
Its to early for my needs, so GL with finally selling it, but man how that would be perfect for me

chris, buy it before I keep doing more stuff to it. The fan was off to put the pulley kit on so I media blasted it, two coats of primer, three coats of paint and a coat of clear. I also have the cam block off plate for left side since the factory cover gets in the way while your dropping the motor.

Wish I could, but that would truly be the cart before the horse!
I have so far to go before even thinking seriously about a motor. But I was just having the discussion with my wife out of nowhere about "should I or shouldn't I " put a monster motor in the car since I'm in the rust repair/replace portion of my bare metal resto.......and there turns up your motor for sale. I'm a huge believer in fate, this time, fate had bad timing

Great seller and a beautiful race car.
Bob - would you believe it if I told you that the longblock I purchased from you all those months ago is *still* not in the car? At this point, the sequence and sheer number of random events and subsequent delays is almost humorous.
