I'm going to have a 951 cup wing in my hands this week,I want to see how much interest there is for replicas to be offered.I know a guy who can mold and produce them,but it is a complex part to mold and produce and would need to sell at least a half dozen or so at $400-500 to be worth his time.The OEM part is not for sale.So what do you guys think?.Thanks Joel

Looks like oem rubber wing,one piece fiberglss.I'll post a pic asap

 

As far as I know the 951 Cup Cars had the stock rubber wing and I have never heard of anything else to suggest otherwise.

There was an extended fiberglass version that came on the 924 race cars I believe.

 

I think it's the same as the Carrera GTS wing,not the larger Lemans wing that was on the 924 race cars

The wing turned out to be a 924 GTS wing,these were designed to fit a lexan window.My friend who works with fiberglass tried to fit it to his glass 944 hatch and it didn't fit well at all.So he is going to design his own that will fit the glass hatch.He's already working on it and I will post more news soon

 

So what happens to the prototype that didn't work out?
