Default 1988 924S Street/AX/DE Car

1988 Porsche 924S – Black/Black, excellent street/DE/AX car, rebuilt top end, PS & AC delete, rebuilt LSD trans, new clutch, MO30 sway bars, konis, lowered, cool brake kit, drilled rotors, Redline Rennsport Roll Bar, etc. Not a garage queen, but an excellent turn key driver that has been meticulously maintained. Fun on the track and autocross. Would also be a wonderful car for PCA, SCCA or 944 Cup racing. Many extras! $4,900/OBO Matt Romanowski matt@jraplastics.com or 603-674-3250

Selling becuase I don't really drive it. If business is good, I'm hoping to add some money to it and get a Boxster that will be driven much more. It's a great car, I just don't ever drive it much.

As the PO of this car I can only say that it is one of the quickest 924S/944NA around. Great DE/AX or to be built into 944 Spec car. Grab it quick!

Bump.

If people are intersested, I'm sure we could lower the price and take out some parts. This car has everything - roll bar, manual steering rack, limited slip diff, Momo wheel, etc.

Matt,

I'm sending this to Pat M. It would make a GREAT first DE car for his son Patrick.

I agree, it would make an EXCELLENT 1st DE car. How did the Turbo go Brian?

Couple of glitches, but overall I'm happy. Nice being back in the 944T. I liked the power and torque of the 996 but I really like the balance of the 944T.

Regarding suspension, still stock springs and torsion bars? Mileage on engine? I've been thinking about another n/a for auto-x and DE to take the load off my 951. Would be a great platform for eventual spec or pca club racing. Very tempting!

Jay will have to help answer, but I believe they were upgraded to the turbo sizes. I know it has turbo swaybars on it. It handles great. The engine has less than 10k miles. It's as strong as a 924 gets. Strip it out, cage it, and you have a great spec car!

It won't get parted out. It's way too good of a car.

Matt,

That's a really nice 924S w/ great potential for SP1/'44 Cup, etc. No way can you part it out.

Patience, you should get your asking price - or close to it.

GLWS.
