Just found this...curious as to what kind of street machine it makes? (i.e. is it too harsh for a "nice day" driver?) Do you know if Fuchs (or more likely fake Fuchs) will fit over the brakes ok? ..once the fenders are flared, of course.

Thanks!

This used to be my old car actually. This car rides really nice on the roads, I used it as my DD in the warmer months for years and it was a perfect combination of DD & weekend warrior. I never once complained that the ride was to hard. My wife drove it often as well and she never complained either. This car is very well built and sorted and I wish I could buy it back actually. I shouldn't have sold it!

Also, so you know the racing seat is no longer in the car as I kept it when I sold it. I can't answer the question about the fuchs, but I am sure they could and would. The rims in the pictures are 6&7x16's. I think fuchs would look awesome on that car. I am sure Matt would be willing to try some of the fuchs he has sitting around his house if you were interested.

What Jay said. The car is great as a sporty driver and really fun on the track and autocross. The LSD makes it much more fun!

The Fuchs that I have will be the wrong offset, so they won't tell us much. I'm sure Fuchs would fit on it since it has the stock brakes.

I have no doubts. Just need to convince my better half. She seems luke warm on this one for some reason. Perhaps had we not bought the new Subaru last week...

Tell her while the Subaru is losing money this car will only increase in value! That always works for me with the ol' battle ax.

I wouldn't call her that to her face either! She is actually the best, that is why it is fun to call her that. She is actually a Rennlist member and posted above so I should be more careful.

to wives that are cool! Truly I've got one as well. Just not sure why she's hessitating with this one. Maybe the "PS & AC delete"...although I've had a few 911s w/o either, so....who knows!

The PS isn't a big deal and my wife drove it all the time without it and never complained. She and I both liked the car better without it. As for the AC, I don't know what to tell you. I always thought the windows were better then the AC anyway.

Yeah I'm not worried about the PS. The AC just extends the driving time (summer humidity sucks), but this won't be a primary driver anyway. Still...
