Porsche Dealership lighted sign for sale – Cambridge, ON
Hello all,
I have a very rare Porsche Dealership sign for sale. Maybe from the mid 80’s.
Sign is 6 foot by 6 foot, with light fixtures, and box.
I purchased 2 of these signs (front and back) from a shop in the parries this summer. I built proper boxes for the signs, and installed 4 48” florescent strip lights (just like the originally had). The signs have a standard switch on the bottom of the frame, and can either be wired up to your garage circuit, or just plugged into an extension cord. The signs were originally with a white frame, but I thought they looked much nicer with a black frame so I painted the frames gloss black.
I finally got around to mounting up one of the signs last week.
IT LOOKS AMAZING!
I was planning on putting the other sign up on the other wall of my garage, but I have realized that I need that wall space for large tools, ladders, etc, so I have decided to see if someone wants to buy my other sign.
The signs are in excellent shape with no damage. Amazing for their age. The Porsche crests are perfect. I wanted to give the Plexiglas a real good scrub, but I did not have the time. I’ll do that in the spring.
The signs have shipping crates, but I will not have the time to look into shipping until mid Jan at the earliest. So I would like to offer one of these signs to someone for pick-up just east of Cambridge Ontario, or I could deliver in T.O. for $50, or the surrounding areas for $100.
Price is $3000. That may seem like a lot, but this sign is HUGE and very impressive, you will not find these anywhere, and if I smashed one of them with a ladder or something, I would not sell the other for $5K.
Feel free to ask any questions……with the exception of shipping quotes. I don’t have the time for that legwork yet.
Thanks,
Michael

Thanks guys. It really is nice. I figure that if I am into a different Porsche every 3-5 years, I will still have it 10 Porsches from now. Maybe I can park my "old 999" under it?
BTW Rob, it has a custom crate (see below), and I can easily haul it with my Car hauler.
Merry Christmas,
Michael

Oh Ilko, you would not be happy with me.
I have not had the chance to do much since I rounded up all the 965 stuff. I have everything OEM 965 (no F/G). Though I still need the fender liners, the little 965 mud flap thingies that go behind the front wheels, and 4 2" spacers. I also have a complete left rear section to use the quarter pannel, and a nice set of 996 sport seats.
I have the 965 fenders and bumper covers on, the 930 tail (MA Shaw adapters), and I had the rear quarter pannels speed taped onto the body. Boy, what a difference those 4 inches make.
So I am all ready to go to the B-shop, but that will not happen until this summer.
You will be the first to get the pics when that happens.
Happy new year man!

Life is what happens while me make other plans, right? I'm glad you're almost done collecting the parts. Good luck with everything, would love to see it when it's done. Have you decided on an engine yet?
