Good luck with your sale.

this car has so many features I can't keep track of them all! ;-)

shifting, BTW, is a dream. From 2nd to 3rd gear feels like the bolt action on a shotgun

Where are you located?I contacted you about this car last year but I've forgotten where you are. I have 4 Pcars right now and certainly don't need another, but I've always wanted one of these. Would you consider a partial trade. Nothing is selling right now. The one I prefer to trade is a very nice 996 daily driver.

I'm in San Francisco.

I might consider a partial trade...but whatever I trade for would have to be an automatic: my wife's offices have moved and she now needs a car to get to work; she does not feel comfortable driving a manual in SF city traffic (and I don't blame her!). I can't give her our prius because that has the car pool lane stickers on it which I need for my commute (saves me 20-30 minutes a day). I'd consider getting her a 3rd car but we don't have a 3rd parking spot (and getting one would be a lot of extra $ on top of getting a 3rd car especially when I don't drive my 2nd car that often). Until this week, I had basically taken my boxster off the market...but her change in work is forcing me into a tough spot...

My 996 is a Tiptronic, but SF is a long way from Atlanta on 4 wheels

Since two years have passed, I guess it's time for another bump!

The car now has 54k miles, new rear tires (OEM), and fresh oil.

I'm interested,

I have an 87 Coupe with 47K original miles... just about perfect... Cassis metallic over Burgundy... totally original.. would consider a trade..

Rick,
Let me know a good time to call you (at the number listed in your sig). However, the trade I'd be most interested in now would be for a minivan (I can't believe I just wrote that); my wife and I just found out we are expecting :-) I had pretty much decided to keep this car forever...but with a child it doesn't make sense.
Thanks,
matthew
