Hello, I still have my 1998 Mercedes E320 4-matic sedan for sale. It's in fantastic shape - everything works, super clean, lot of spares are included, and many parts were replaced in the last 12 months.
This car is beautiful - it has never been smoked in - food has never been eaten in it - no beverage other than water has ever been consumed in it.
No accidents. I have all maintenance records since new and have the original window sticker.
Comes with summer tires on S-class rims and snow tires on the original E-class rims.
I always though I'd have this car forever, but somehow I ended up with a 996 in the garage - and now I have to make room.
The car is about 75 miles north of NYC. As an added bonus, I will deliver this car up to 600 miles away for free! That's right. You buy it, and I am willing to drive it to you then fly home at my own expense!
The book value on this car is mid $11k. My asking price right now is $12k - due to its superior condition and the extras that come with it.
I can't stress enough how well this car has been maintained. In the last year (about 8k miles, I've replaced the summer tires, the shocks and struts, the brake pads and rotors, the 4 oxygen sensors, the A/C condenser, and performed a major tuneup including filters, plugs and belts.
Even though it has 106k miles, it drives like a new car with no leaks or rattles. In 1998 the sticker price was over $52,000 (about $64,000 today, adjusted for inflation) - my asking price is less than 1/5th of that!
PM or email me with any questions you have or if you want to see more/larger pictures!

This is a great winter car... I had a buyer back out.
A steal for a luxury car that's in fantastic shape.
This is more comfortable and will last longer than any new cheap peice of crap (like a kia or daewoo - which would be the same money).
For a rennlist member, I'll lower the price to $11k. It would make a great last minute christmas gift for your spouse...

I can't seem to generate any interest with this car at $11k... Anyone interested in it for $10k?
This is just a spectacular car - great to drive, great to look at and super reliable! 100k mile service has been done.
As people with Porsches, you guys should be able to realize a) the quality; b) the importance of up-keep and preventative maintenance; c) the value of a complete maintenance history.
What will it take to sell this car!?!? So far I've discovered people who want to spend less than $1k on a beater, people who'd rather buy a new one at $1000/month, people who think that ANY car over 100k miles is junk, and people who'd rather drive around in a Daewoo or Kia or Aveo for more money.
I just don't get it - if someone appreciates value, how can you go wrong with this luxury tank that will go practically forever?! It's done most of its depreciating! It was over $50k new. I paid the book value of $19k 4 years ago when I bought it. It is now in BETTER shape than when I bought it! It has fresh brakes, new tires, new shocks and struts, many other new parts, and I replaced the trunk lid that was rusty.
Simple math: the car is better than it was 4 years ago at 50k miles - at almost half the cost!!
