Default 928 GTS Beauty

’93 Porsche GTS, A/T, 69K miles, Grey Metallic over black, seats are light grey leather with no visible wear. This is a garaged Calif car with no rust and it only rarely has seen rain. While the car appears essentially as new, the previous owner was meticulous and had it professionally refreshed inside and out: new paint and new carpet; it is near mint inside/out and underneath. There are no cracks in the dash. The stereo is top end. The receiver is an Alpine TDA-7563 cassette plus Alpine 6-disc CD changer; the MBQuart speakers and the USD Audio 10” subwoofer are driven by a Packard Fosgate 592 watt amp. Additional upgrades include polished cup wheels, w/painted center caps, Pirelli P-Zero tires with about 40% tread, it has RMB, and an aftermarket remote door lock. The paint is like-new, deep and rich with only 1, 1 mm stone chip on the hood, there are NO other blemishes. It has an extended Sirius subscription. The dash mounted Philips Carin GPS system is not activated. It has 8-way electric seats, windows, sunroof, cruise control. The windows have a 20% tint which nicely complements the color as well as reduces glare and summer heat. 10/07, new TB and cam gears, tie rod boots, distr and rotors. This is a very nicely put together package at $30,900. Car is on Long Island, by appt. on weekends. PM or email me.

Beautiful car! I keep thinking about 911's, but every time I see a nice 928 (especially a GTS), I start to wonder about those too.
Indecision is an awful thing!

Shane drive both and then decide. This looks like a beautiful example at a great price.

I agree totally! I don't want to drive anything until the spring (buying next summer I hope). This really is nice looking and a pretty good price too.

John: Sorry to hear about your racer. Frankly, if somebody offered me $9.5K for the '85 (5-sp), I'd keep the GTS. This car will be hard to part with. Silly thing how the more work I do on either, the more I bond with it. I finished the belt and cam gear change this weekend; I used Ken's tool to set a couple degrees of advance, first time working with that, so I was a little nervous; started right up, got off the ramps and drove conservatively to the gas station, everything fine. It does turn heads, a guy at the pump said nice car, and I said it's for sale and we talked. One of the incidentals mentioned was how many Corvettes there are on the road. He took my number.

Default I just polished these.

One of the more labor intensive, but rewarding jobs.
