Exclamation 1994 968 Tiptronic (FS) *UPDATE! $11,700!!

Well, I bought it for the wife but turns out she doesn't like it

This car was bought locally at Gaudin Porsche in 1993 and stayed here in Las Vegas, we are the 3rd owners. It's getting ready to hit 113K miles and I have records dating back to 1998, also with a clean carfax. The TB/WP were replaced approx 17K miles ago at a local authorized shop "Carl's Place". A new windshield was installed in 2005, so it's very clear.

It's an all around good car, with 18" cup wheels and cross-drilled rotors on all 4's, but needs new tires. AC blows very cold, and the interior is in great shape! It's not perfect with some dings on the driver side, curb rash on the wheels, and some spider cracks on the front bumper.

Alright, is $11,700 low enough to make up for the "tip"?????

Current NADA lists $12,200 (low), $14,225 (avarage), and $15,475 (high).

Please shoot me a PM if interested

Me thinks your wife is crazy...

Awesome condition car (aside from it being an auto)! Good luck with the sale!

Jay, how can I tell if it has M030?

Ski, the rear hatch light will come on when opening the front doors but not with the hatch, also, the hatch switch works but the hatch doesn't open so I think it has to do with the struts. I can't think of any other items not working. As I mentioned above, it needs tires despeartely. They have tons of tread remaining, but I think they are shot from the sound and feel.

Don't hate the 968 because it only has 1/2 an engine....minus boost.....so in other words its less than 1/2 your 928's whp!!

It does look very nice...I like the color combo

Hate to say it, but I'm thinking $12,500 is a bit optimistic for a 968 coupe with 113k and a tip. Personally, I love the color combination AND the tiptronic, which is unrated in my opinion, but I'm not in the market (unless I find one in Horizon Blue, and then I will be turboing it). Best of luck on your sale, and I hope you are able to prove me wrong!

Regards,

Thanks for the input Scott, I always though the 968's brought more than 951's?

I hope folks see the OBO and make a decent offer.

That is a good looking car. I wish I could get it as my daily driver. I have the cash but I promised my wife I would do some other things first.

When were the belts done?

Interesting, I bought a 95 968 Cab, Polar Silver/Black, 6 speed, 39K miles, for my wife last year. Had my mechanic go thru it top to bottom, $6K, put in black 12 way power/heated/supple leather 993TT seats.

She never drove it once. It just sits in the garage.

What it is with wives and 968's?

Is it for sale LTC? If it was tiptronic that would fit my bill, as she's thinking more cab.

Damn. Too bad the car is so far away... I'm gettin ready to give the old lady the black 968 6sp... She actually wants the 968... I'm sure she'll have the transmission falling out in a month or so... Her Maxima just won't die...
